It is hard to believe that we are approaching a year since the loss of a beloved member of our community here in Worcester. Harris Wolobah was a dedicated young man who had a bright future ahead of him and actively strived to become the best version of himself. He had a great love for his family, friends, and, of course, basketball! Harris trained at every opportunity to grow as an athlete. He was disciplined and determined.
Tragically, as a result of the “one-chip challenge,” his family, friends, and our community suffered a great loss with his passing. However, we are determined to move forward, so that healing might begin and that good can continually come out of this tragedy. We will be like Harris and, through discipline and determination, we will bring about positive change in the lives of others.
We join the family of Harris as we bring some of the best trainers Worcester has to offer together for a day of training and exhibition games in honor of Harris! A big shout out to Douglas Hill, Tishuan Jenkins, Douglas Hill, Anthony Barbosa and other local trainers for helping us make this day special.
Let's come together to celebrate Harris's life, his passion, and his dedication, ensuring his legacy continues to inspire and uplift our community.
